Beatrice Ogeh joins BLUU as the Interim Administrative Coordinator. She keeps BLUU’s operations moving smoothly by updating BLUU’s data and processing information at BLUU’s home office in Minneapolis.
“Beatrice is a steady and fastidious worker,” said Lena K. Gardner, BLUU’s Executive Director. “We’re grateful she’s a part of the team!”
Beatrice is excited to work for an organization that centers Black spiritual care. “I’m inspired by BLUU’s mission and work,” Beatrice said. “Being a part of a BIPOC-focused organization that is such a positive force in the community is really meaningful to me.”
Beatrice comes to BLUU with a number of years of experience in nonprofit work, including time at Girl Scouts River Valleys and Springboard for the Arts.
One of Beatrice’s greatest passions outside of work is music.
“I play guitar and sing in an indie rock band called Not Your Baby, and I’m always listening to a podcast,” Beatrice said. She also helps run an online project called Twin Cities BIPOC Music which celebrates and amplifies the voices of local BIPOC musicians and performers.
