Risk Discernment in Justice Movements: A Panel for BIPOC Communities

June 17 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

In a climate of intensifying political pressure, targeting of those who dissent, and erosion of constitutional rights, how do we continue to move forward in justice work while protecting ourselves and our communities?

DRUUMM and BLUU are partnering for a vital, timely panel discussion on risk discernment for people of the global majority (Black, Indigenous, and people of color). Together, we will dive into the questions these tumultuous times demand:

❓What is the moment calling us to do?
❓How do we maneuver to speak out boldly AND stay safe?
❓How is faith informing how we show up?

Join us for a critical conversation grounded in love, faith, and community care, followed by an open Q&A.

✨ Featured Panelists:
Lena K. Gardner (Executive Director, BLUU)
Atena Danner (Organizing Director, UU Action Network of Illinois)
Rev. Kevin Mann (Co-Director, DRUUMM California)

️ Move with us in community.
